Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrives in Ankara, Turkey

Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived at Ankara, Turkey today on three days official visit. Turkish Minister for Urban Planning & Development Mr. Erdogan Bayraktar received him while senior political, civil and military officials of Turkey were also present at the airport.
In his brief interaction with the Turkish officials at the airport, the Prime Minister reiterated exemplary brotherhood between the people of Turkey and Pakistan. He said that “we came to Turkey with a large agenda for developmental cooperation which we will discuss with the Turkish leadership”.
Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that the cooperation between Turkey and Pakistan will reduce our international dependency. “I am looking towards enhanced cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, infrastructure, education, and security”, he added.
The Prime Minister said that there is great potential for the two brotherly countries to learn from each other’s expertise. He said that “I am happy to notice the fast socio economic development in Turkey which it has achieved during the last two decades”. He further said that his Government has the same agenda for the people of Pakistan.
Minister for Finance Mr. Ishaq Dar, Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Shahbaz Sharif and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Mr. Tariq Fatemi while other cabinet ministers including Minister for Commerce Mr. Khurrum Dastagir, Minister for Housing Barristar Usman Ibrahim are also accompanying the Prime Minister.
