Pakistan Embassy School Ankara visits the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LOSEV) school


The LOSEV (Lösemili Çocuklar Vakfı) week is celebrated between 2-8 November every year. As part of an activity of the Social Activity Club, the Pakistan Embassy School (PEISG) arranged a trip to the LOSEV School in Ankara on 6th November 2014 under the supervision of Mr. Imran Ali and Ms. Besi Erguven.

The group was received at the LOSEV School by their fifth grade students. They gave a presentation on the establishment of LOSEV and the different services provided by the organization such as:
·         Free treatment of Leukemia to children suffering from the disease
·         Free college education to the recovered (patients)
·         Free accommodation to the Leukemia patients and their families
·         Job opportunities to the patients’ mothers at school canteen against a certain remuneration

After the presentation, students of class V presented a musical show on “Old McDonald had a farm” and “Here we go around the Mulberry bush.”

The International Coordinator of LOSEV Ms. Sezgin Soylu also gave a presentation on the recovery and rehabilitation process of the recovered patients into their normal social life and activities.


In the end, PESIG students and the LOSEV students played a few games together and the day ended with the exchange of gifts by both sides.
