Rawalpindi - March 30, 2016: General Hulusi AKAR, Chief of
Turkish General Staff called on General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff, at
General Headquarters today.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including
military to military relations, regional security situation and measures to
further enhance defence cooperation between both the countries were discussed.
Turkish Chief of General Staff appreciated achievements of Operation Zarb-e-Azb
and paid rich tributes to Pakistan’s sacrifices in bringing peace and stability
in the region.
