Adviser to Prime Minister of Pakistan on Foreign Affairs strongly condemns terrorist attack in Turkey's Kayseri province

"We condemn in the strongest possible terms the terrorist attack that took place in Kayseri today, reportedly resulting in the loss of precious lives of 13 personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces, and injuring 48 others.

We are deeply pained and anguished that this heinous act of terrorism comes within a few days of the terrorist attack in Besiktas district of Istanbul, in which 44 precious lives were lost and scores were wounded.

On behalf of the Prime Minister, the Government and the people of Pakistan, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Government and the brotherly people of Turkey, as well as to the families of all those who lost their loved ones in this cowardly attack. We also pray for the speedy recovery of those injured.

We reiterate our unwavering solidarity with Turkey and reaffirms strong belief that the brotherly people of Turkey would be successful in their resolute fight against the scourge of terrorism. There is no doubt that the collective will and determination of the people of Turkey would defeat any evil design against the country's peace, stability, prosperity and internal harmony.

We condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. "
